The World Athletics Cross Country Championships in Belgrade are set to take place on Saturday, March 30, with a total of 485 athletes from 51 teams competing. The entries can be downloaded from the event website and are broken down by event and country.

Kenya, who topped the medal table at the previous championships in Bathurst, Australia in 2023 with six gold medals, will be defending their title in this year’s event. Agnes Ngetich and Emmaculate Anyango are among the strong women expected to compete in the senior women’s race, while Jacob Kiplimo and Joshua Cheptegei are set to race for Uganda in the senior men’s race. Kenya will also defend their title in the mixed relay event with a strong squad lined up for the race.
