The Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago is closing for unplanned maintenance on Wednesday, as announced by CBS News Chicago. The museum did not disclose any specifics about the maintenance in their statement to the media, but assured that it will reopen for normal hours on Thursday. Visitors who have purchased advance tickets will receive a refund or be able to reschedule by calling 773-684-1414.

Currently, the Museum of Science and Industry is hosting two exhibitions: “007 Science: Inventing the World of James Bond” and “The Blue Paradox”. The first exhibit focuses on the science and technology behind the iconic movie franchise, while the second explores the impacts of plastic pollution in the ocean. Visitors can also enjoy various films at the Giant Dome Theater, as well as participate in the Black Creativity Juried Art Exhibition.
