Taylor Pendrith had a remarkable day as he secured his first PGA Tour victory at the CJ Cup Byron Nelson. He finished ahead of Ben Kohles and Alex Noren, who also had a strong showing, finishing second and third, respectively. Pendrith’s win means he will have the opportunity to compete in the final three signature events of the season, including the Wells Fargo Championship, Memorial Tournament, and Travelers Championship.

In addition to Pendrith, Kohles and Noren also earned spots in the Wells Fargo Championship through the Aon Swing 5 rankings. The top five players who accumulated the most points from the Corales Puntacana Championship, Zurich Classic, and Nelson were Pendrith, Kohles, Noren, Billy Horschel, and Kevin Tway. These players qualified for the upcoming tournaments based on their combined point totals.

Chad Ramey finished just outside of the top five in the Swing 5 rankings. The Aon Next 10 group, which includes current top 10 players in FedExCup points who did not finish in the top 50 last season, had minimal changes since the RBC Heritage event. Shane Lowry moved into the top 10 of the Next 10 rankings after winning Zurich with Rory McIlroy. Other members of this group include Ludvig Åberg, Matthieu Pavon, Stephan Jaeger, Will Zalatoris, Akshay Bhatia
