According to expert analysis, the recent Iranian attacks on Israel have been compared to the Russian attacks on Ukraine. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) explains that Iran is learning from the Russians and the Houthi rebels to develop more dangerous and effective attack strategies against Israel and the USA.

The combination of Iranian drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles is intended to overwhelm Israeli air defense systems. ISW notes that Russia has used a similar combination of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones, against Ukraine in recent attacks, causing significant damage to Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.

Experts also note that Iran has learned from the Houthi attacks on international shipping around Yemen, using a combination of drones and missiles against US defense systems in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden. This has allowed Iran and the Houthis to test and improve their attack strategies.

The experts believe that this use of Iranian-made drones will not only benefit Tehran but also countries like Russia, North Korea, and China who can use these systems strategically against the US and its allies. This advancement in attack technology poses a significant threat to global security in the future.
