Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is determined to maintain morale and repel Russian forces, while also ensuring the territorial integrity of his country during the ongoing war. Despite Moscow’s advances along the front line and siege of key strongholds like Chasiv Yar in Donetsk, Zelensky remains optimistic that Russia will eventually withdraw from Ukraine. However, he acknowledges that strength and unity among the Ukrainian people and their allies are necessary to achieve this goal.

Negotiations with Russia are currently not feasible as Moscow does not recognize Zelensky as an interlocutor. In fact, the Russian Interior Ministry has placed him on a wanted list, further complicating diplomatic efforts. Despite this, Zelensky continues to believe in the importance of unity in defeating Russia’s aggression.

As Ukraine prepares for a Peace Summit in June, Zelensky remains determined to make it successful despite Russia’s attempts to sabotage it. Ukrainian forces continue to resist Russian aggression, with recent reports of shooting down a Russian Su-25 plane in Donetsk. Despite heavy Russian losses, the conflict shows no signs of slowing down, with Moscow’s military operations expected to escalate in the coming months.

Despite these challenges, Ukraine remains committed to finding a diplomatic solution to the crisis. Zelensky’s leadership and determination to defend his country against Russian aggression are evident in his daily messages and actions on the battlefield. With the support of their allies and a united front, Ukraine remains hopeful that they can force Russia to withdraw from their territory and end the conflict.
