For the third time in four years, Tom Stoltman has been crowned the World’s Strongest Man. The Scottish behemoth topped Canada’s Mitchell Hooper and the United States’ Evan Singleton to claim the title. Stoltman carried a three-point lead into Saturday and extended his advantage, finishing third in the Conan’s Wheel (777 degrees, eight points), tied for second in the Terrain Deadlift (8.5 points reps), and first in the Atlas Stones (five stones in 38.14 seconds, 10 points).

The overall standings were as follows: Stoltman with 53 points, Hooper with 47.5 points, Singleton with 36 points, Mathew Ragg from Canada with 35.5 points, Tristain Hoath from Canada with 33.5 points, Wesley Derwinsky from Canada with 31 points, Austin Andrade from Mexico with 30.5 points, Pavlo Kordiyaka from Ukraine with 27 points, Luke Stoltman from Scotland with 19.5 points, and Aivars Šmaukstelis from Latvia with 12.5 points.

Hooper had a fantastic day on Sunday and finished just barely ahead of Singleton for third place after failing to score more than five points in any of the three events on Sunday. Meanwhile, Ragg had a solid day on Sunday as well, scoring an impressive eight reps on the Terrain Deadlift to finish second behind only his Canadian counterpart on that event. However, it was not enough to overcome his deficit against Stoltman or hooper’s comeback performance on Conan’s wheel that put him within one point of tying for second place but ultimately fell short by one point when he failed to lift enough weight during Atlas stone event to secure second place .

Stoltman’s dominance in the competition solidifies his position as one of the strongest men in the world. He has now finished either first or second in each of the past five World’s Strongest Man competitions and is widely regarded as one of the greatest competitors in strongman history
