Centralizing Healthcare Education: CWI’s Expansion of Its Health & Science Department

A milestone was reached by the College of Western Idaho with the signing of a beam at the Nampa campus for their new Health & Science building. This marks the first expansion at the college since its inception in 2007. The new building will bring all professors and resources under one roof, centralizing the Health & Science department.

Former student Nichelle Boyce, who earned her degree in Surgical Technology from CWI, expressed her excitement about the expansion and its benefits for future students. She highlighted how having all professors in one location would make it easier for students to reach out for questions and answers, streamline their learning process, and improve collaboration among them.
