Deborah Blum, a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer with a passion for educating the public about poison, believes that scientific information is essential. As the director of the Knight Science Journalism program at MIT and a proud graduate of UW-Madison, Blum has spent nearly two decades teaching science journalism and other subjects at the university.
