David and Amanda Trahan, owners of Grace Properties LLC, have purchased 6.2 acres of land near Sugar Mill Pond in Youngsville for over $2.8 million from Young’s Industries. The plan is to divide the land into five lots, with their business located on the southern end of the property. The remaining lots will be sold to other businesses. Construction is set to begin in the fall.

In 2022, the Trahans bought 1.6 acres of land along Milton Road near Metairie Center shopping center for $555,000. However, they later sold it to a Baton Rouge-based development group for $800,000 the next year due to an attractive offer that led them to change their minds about selling initially.

The new location in Youngsville is a better fit for their business than the previous one in Baton Rouge according to David Trahan, owner of Paradise Grill & Daiquiris. Their goal is to expand into the Lafayette area with five or six locations and also Baton Rouge as well as Lake Charles where they already have multiple locations such as Moss Bluff and Sulphur with another Lake Charles location set to open on May 1st.
