RAMAC Business Awards Celebrate Racine’s Economy Drivers

The Racine Area Manufacturers and Commerce (RAMAC) held its annual awards dinner and celebration on April 25, with the theme of “Building Our Future Together” at Roma Lodge. The event recognized the achievements of member organizations and individuals for their roles in driving Racine’s economy forward. As a chamber of commerce, it is essential to acknowledge those who provide goods or services, create jobs, or make investments in the community.

During the event, RAMAC partnered with the Racine Unified School District to introduce new awards from the Academies of Racine. The categories included Apollo Award for New and Innovative Business, Judy Moungey Award for Youth Apprenticeship, Nonprofit of the Year, Small Business of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Businessperson of the Year, and several other awards from the Academies of Racine. Among this year’s recipients were Lakeview Health, Siena on the Lake, Racine Habitat for Humanity, Lakeview Pharmacy, Knapp Manufacturing Inc & Air Logic Inc., Liz Powell from Racine Community Foundation DeltaHawk Engines Inc., Bear Country Inc., Educators Credit Union.

These businesses came together to celebrate shared purpose and partnerships while building a better future for themselves and their community members.
