Idaho Small Business of the Month: Greyloch, LLC Thrives with Family Ownership and Community Commitment

Greyloch, LLC in Star has been recognized as the Idaho Small Business of the Month for May 2024 by U.S. Senator Jim Risch, a senior member and former chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship. Shaun Fickes founded the company in a garage and it has since expanded to occupy over 96,000 square feet in Star. The business is named after a peak near Lowman where Shaun’s grandfather served as an Idaho forest ranger.

Greyloch is unique cabinet manufacturing facility in North America that is owned and operated by Shaun and his four children while employing 73 proud Idaho residents. Idaho is consistently rated as one of the top states in the nation for business opportunities, and Senator Risch selects a small business each month that embodies the values of Idaho – hard work, entrepreneurial drive, and a strong commitment to the community.
