Emma Corrin, a British actress who has won Critics Choice and Golden Globe awards, as well as SAG and Emmy Award nominations, is the guest on this week’s episode of The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter podcast. During the episode, recorded in front of a group of film students at Chapman University, Corrin spoke about her career-defining role as Princess Diana in season four of Netflix’s The Crown in 2020. She also discussed her personal journey of identity and her Emmy-buzzed performance in the FX limited series A Murder at the End of the World.

In A Murder at the End of the World, a series created by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, Corrin plays a character named Darby Hart in two different time periods six years apart. In the first period, she is an amateur detective investigating cold-case murders with her then-boyfriend Bill. In the second period, she is an acclaimed author, invited to a billionaire’s retreat where Bill, who she hasn’t seen in six years and is now a famous artist, is found dead. This presents her with a personal mystery to solve.

Corrin has also appeared in the 2022 films My Policeman and Lady Chatterley’s Lover and will soon be seen in Deadpool & Wolverine and Nosferatu. With such diverse roles under her belt, it’s clear that Corrin is an incredibly talented actress with bright things ahead for her career.
