On Saturday, the Tampa Bay Rays and Toronto Blue Jays experienced another bench-clearing incident during their game. This altercation began with a bunt by Rays infielder José Caballero in the bottom of the seventh inning, which led to a throwing error by Blue Jays third baseman Justin Turner. This error allowed the Rays to extend their lead to 3-1.

Following the play, Caballero attempted to reach third base but was thrown out. As he passed third base, he bumped into Blue Jays pitcher Génesis Cabrera, who then shoved Caballero after some heated exchanges. This altercation resulted in both benches clearing and Cabrera being ejected from the game after just one inning.
