The upcoming extraordinary general meetings at Hotel Park Hyatt Vienna next Wednesday have been met with mounting anticipation. These meetings are set to take place for Signa Prime Selection AG and Signa Development Selection AG, both subsidiaries of the Signa Group. Each meeting carries a seven-point agenda that includes discussions on economic situations, restructuring plans, and the election of supervisory board members.

As per reports from KURIER, new members such as Karin Exner-Wöhrer, Michael Mitterdorfer, Sebastian Schäfer, Kurt Berger, Collin Schmitz-Valckenberg and Christian Bertschinger are expected to join the Signa Prime supervisory board. For the Signa Development board, members like Exner-Wöhrer, Mitterdorfer, Christoph Schäffer and Claudia Badrausch were anticipated. However, Hesoun declined his candidacy for the development board due to unspecified reasons.

There are disagreements among restructuring administrators regarding the selection and number of supervisory board members. Some stakeholders do not support the proposal to have Exner-Wöhrer and Mitterdorfer serve on both boards. This raises questions about delegation and representation within the company’s leadership structure.

The discussions and decisions made during these meetings will significantly impact the future direction of the Signa Group and its operations. It is worth noting that there is tension in the air as stakeholders prepare for this pivotal moment in company history.
