Scotland is currently leading the way in the World Men’s Curling Championship, with two victories out of two matches under their belt. Bruce Mouat’s rink defeated South Korea 10-3 in their first match and later replicated the same score against the United States. Mouat expressed satisfaction with their performance on the first day, emphasizing the importance of getting a good grip on the ice conditions early on and executing solid shots against tough opponents.

In their match against South Korea, scoring three at the third and fifth ends helped the Scots gain an early lead that they maintained throughout the game. They finished off the match with a double at the seventh end. Against the United States, they started strong with a three and built on that to secure the win after eight ends.
