The Bakersfield Women’s Business Conference recently celebrated its 34th annual event with the theme “Making the Impossible Possible”. This year’s conference drew thousands of attendees, all eager to learn about resilience, innovation, and determination. Over the years, this event has become a platform for women to come together for a day of empowerment and enrichment.

The keynote speaker at this year’s conference was Marlee Matlin, an Academy-Award-Winning actress, author, and activist. She shared her insights on achieving success and overcoming challenges, inspiring attendees with her powerful message. Mari Perez-Dowling, CEO of United Way of Central Eastern California, delivered a closing message that left attendees inspired and motivated to serve others.

This year’s conference took place at the Mechanic’s Bank Convention Center in downtown Bakersfield.
