A man from Mobile, LeCarey Dionte Lett, 29, was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of Kelon Foster outside a sports bar in 2021. Lett pleaded guilty to the fatal shooting that took place on the night of September 11th, just after 10 p.m. He ambushed Foster as he was leaving Stadium Sports Bar and shot him multiple times as he walked to his car.

Keith Blackwood, Mobile County District Attorney, stated that Lett took accountability for his actions and admitted to the crime.
