The Union-Endicott softball team had an excellent game against Seton Catholic Central, winning 4-3 in extra innings. Despite being behind 3-0 in the fifth inning, the Tigers managed to tie the game with three runs and ultimately won with a sacrifice fly from Lisa Jones that scored Lisa Lamey. The team’s batting average was .344 at that point, with Caren Osier leading the way with a .529 average.

Meanwhile, Johnson City defeated Susquehanna Valley 6-5 in a matchup of STAC division leaders. Johnson City scored three runs in the sixth inning, starting with Tina Stanton’s home run. Lori Czeitner and Brenda Mott also scored in the inning, with Cris Charpinsky hitting a two-out double to bring them home.
