In SIPSEY, Ala., Whatley Health Services is hosting a health fair on Saturday morning, March 23. The event will offer individuals the opportunity to receive various shots and/or screenings. Dr. Keisha Lowther from Whatley Health Services stated that this health fair will be one of the largest community events they have hosted in a long time due to the participation of multiple vendors.

The health fair will take place inside Beulah Baptist Church, just a block away from Whatley Health Services. It will feature health demonstrations, blood pressure checks, pediatric dental screenings, and other engaging activities. Lowther emphasized the importance of making health a priority, especially at the beginning of the year. She highlighted that attendees will have access to important health numbers like blood pressure and blood sugar levels as well as receive any necessary immunizations.

Among the vendors present at the health fair is one offering $25 gift cards to the first 100 individuals who receive their COVID or flu vaccine on-site. The event will run from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m on Saturday morning. Attendees are asked to bring proof of insurance, a photo ID and a vaccine card if available.
