In the upcoming weeks, the Tulsa World will recognize the top high school athletes in the Tulsa area with the All-World Awards. This week, finalists for winter sports will be announced, starting with boys and girls swimming on Wednesday, boys and girls wrestling on Thursday, boys basketball on Friday, and girls basketball on Saturday.
The winners for athletes of the year in each sport will be announced at the eighth annual All-World Awards banquet, presented by Bill Knight Automotive, on Thursday, June 20 at the Cox Business Convention Center’s Legacy Hall. Tickets for the banquet are $75 and can be purchased at allworldawards.com. Seating is limited.
Last fall, athlete of the year finalists were announced in football, cross country, volleyball, and softball. The 2023-24 All-World honors will include football, softball, volleyball, girls cross country, and boys cross country.
Spring sports finalists will be revealed in early June along with winners for specialty awards such as best comeback inspirational scholar athletes and a lifetime achievement award recipient. To read more about this exciting event please click here to see
