On Wednesday, the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago closed unexpectedly for a last-minute relocation of military artifacts from their archives. Some of these artifacts date back to before World War II and required special handling by specially-trained military personnel.

For those who had purchased tickets for the day of closure, MSI will provide refunds or the option to reschedule their visit. The museum plans to reopen on Thursday and resume operations as usual.
