Dee Warner, a Lenawee County woman who vanished in April of 2021, had been discussing her finances with her son, Zack Bock, just before she disappeared. On Thursday, during the preliminary examination of Dale Warner, Dee’s husband and the accused of killing his wife, financial matters took center stage. Zack testified that their businesses were facing significant losses and that they often struggled to meet payroll. Despite extensive cross-examination, he maintained that he had no knowledge of his mother’s disappearance.

The first day of the pre-trial hearing focused on the relationship between Dale and Dee. However, on Thursday, the testimony delved into their businesses and finances. According to Zack, Dee had expressed her intention to transfer ownership of certain trucking businesses to him before she went missing. This meant that he would become the sole owner of these businesses if she disappeared.

Despite prosecutors bringing forth murder charges against Dale Warner for his wife’s disappearance in April 2021, Dee’s body was never found. The case will continue with more testimony on Friday as June 6 is set as the next scheduled date if proceedings are not concluded yet. This ongoing investigation involves not only the disappearance of Dee Warner but also the intricacies surrounding her finances and those involved in them.
