In the high school spring sports scene, several teams have shone through with exceptional performances in the past week. The Demarest boys track and field team secured four victories at the Bergen County Jack Yockers Relays, coming in second in two others. On the other hand, Glen Rock baseball had a successful week, going 3-0 with a score of 45-12 against their opponents, bringing their winning streak to seven games.

Meanwhile, Pompton Lakes girls lacrosse made history by achieving a 5-1 record for the first time in their program’s history after winning three road games last week. Ramsey girls track and field also stood out by dominating every relay event in Group C at the Bergen County Jack Yockers Relays, showcasing their strength as a team.

Ridgefield Park softball continued its winning streak with a 4-0 record last week, defeating highly-ranked Indian Hills in a 5-1 victory. Tenafly boys lacrosse also had an impressive week, bouncing back from back-to-back losses with three consecutive wins, outscoring opponents 44-11.

In addition to these outstanding performances, Wallington softball had a perfect 4-0 week, with a notable win over Emerson. Wayne Valley baseball also had an impressive 4-0 week, extending their winning streak to six games after starting the season with four losses.
