The Los Angeles Dodgers emerged victorious over the Miami Marlins 3-1, extending their winning streak to six games and completing a perfect homestand. Bryan De La Cruz’s solo home run in the fourth inning was the only run scored by Miami. Gavin Stone pitched seven innings for Miami, giving up only one run on six hits with four strikeouts.

Daniel Hudson closed out the game for Los Angeles, retiring the Marlins in order for his second save. Weathers took the loss for Miami, allowing three runs and five hits in six innings. Injuries continue to impact the Marlins, as RHP Edward Cabrera was placed on the injured list for the second time this season. LHP Braxton Garrett was reinstated from the IL and will start on Sunday against Philadelphia.

Up next, Miami will face off against Philadelphia in a three-game series starting on Friday, with Trevor Rogers taking to the mound for Miami. Meanwhile, Los Angeles will travel to San Diego to take on Padres starting pitcher Tyler Glasnow in a three-game series that begins on Saturday night
