Google is currently testing a new generative AI feature that allows users to add notes with AI-generated backgrounds on Google Notes. This experimental feature is being introduced to select users in the US and India, with the possibility of expanding to more markets in the near future. Available on both Android and iOS smartphones through the latest Google app version, it allows users to add notes to web pages.

The feature utilizes a Gemini AI-powered image generation tool within the Google app, enabling users to convert text prompts into images. Previously, users could select from predefined backgrounds when writing a note on a web page, but the latest update offers the option to generate an image or choose one from their phone’s gallery. Generated images within the app currently do not contain watermarks, and users can also save them using screenshots.

While users can only add one image to a single note at the moment, they can choose to add an image from their gallery or generate one within the Google app. Published notes will be visible to other Google app users with access to the experimental notes feature. Google recently updated its iOS app to include Gemini AI, providing free access to the latest generative AI model on web, Android, and iOS devices.

Google’s new feature enables users to write notes with customized background images generated by an AI tool within its Google Notes app. Currently available only in select markets such as US and India for now, this experimental feature has been introduced for both Android and iOS platforms through the latest version of Google’s mobile application.

The new update features a Gemini-powered image generation tool that converts text prompts into images. Users now have two options – either pick from predefined backgrounds or generate one themselves using their phone’s gallery or within the Google app itself.

Generated images in this feature do not bear any watermarks, making them ideal for use in personal notes or presentations. However, at present, only one image can be added per note.

Notes published under this experimental feature are visible only
