Avery Carlson has been a standout player for the Wabasso Rabbits softball team during her senior year. Excelling both at the plate and on the pitcher’s mound, she currently leads the team with a .467 batting average and boasts a 1.31 ERA with 59 strikeouts in 11 games.
In a recent interview conducted by Travis Rosenau, Avery revealed that her favorite high school game so far was the section championship game last year against Edgerton. Although they came up short, she described the atmosphere as incredibly energetic and memorable.
When asked about her favorite food, Avery quickly responded with “pizza.” In addition to her passion for sports, she also enjoys baking and decorating cakes. Avery even has her own baking business called Ave’s Cakes, which can be found on Instagram at aves.cakes11.
Avery’s musical tastes lean towards Taylor Swift, and when it comes to her favorite movie, she chose The Sandlot. Overall, Avery Carlson’s versatility and talents both on and off the field make her a key player for the Wabasso Rabbits softball team.
