Red Bull driver Max Verstappen celebrated on the podium after winning the Chinese Grand Prix. According to Red Bull team manager Christian Horner, Verstappen is racing “on another planet” after dominating a crash-filled race to secure another victory.

Horner praised Verstappen’s form, describing him as being at one with the machine and possessing an unbelievable feel and empathy with the car. Verstappen has won every race this season except the Australian Grand Prix, continuing his record-breaking streak from last year when he won 19 out of 22 races.

Verstappen’s dominance in the Chinese Grand Prix was evident as he finished almost 14 seconds ahead of McLaren’s Lando Norris, who secured his 15th career podium. Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez claimed third place. The Dutch driver led for most of the race, staying clear of incidents that occurred behind him, including a Virtual Safety Car that became a full Safety Car due to Valtteri Bottas’ engine failure and the resulting track clearing issues.

Shortly before a restart, Lance Stroll collided with Daniel Ricciardo, prompting another Safety Car period. Following the race, Verstappen mentioned that the car felt like it was on rails and he could do whatever he wanted with it. This victory was the cherry on top of a successful weekend for Verstappen, who had also won the sprint race on Saturday after starting from fourth on the grid.
