Ginger Oxnard, a staff nurse II in the Emergency Department at Outer Banks Health, has been recognized as the Team Member of the Month for March 2024. She joined the team in January 2022 and has been praised for her strong advocacy, excellent judgment of patient needs, and proactive problem-solving skills.

Oxnard is known for approaching her job with integrity and spreading positivity through warmth and compassion towards every patient she encounters. Her colleagues admire her knowledge, peacefulness, attention to detail, intelligence, compassion, and eagerness to learn as qualities to be admired and emulated.

The recognition ceremony included Linda Smith, manager of patient care services; Rachel Loos, staff nurse III; Karen Graf, patient flow coordinator; Christine Coleman, nurse practitioner; and Katie Barrick, nurse traveler, joining Oxnard in celebrating her achievement. Oxnard’s award is a testament to her dedication, excellence, and positive impact within the Outer Banks Health team.
