Netal, an organization that treats victims of terrorism and war and their surrounding communities, has seen a significant increase in calls from men. About 60% of calls are received by men, a substantial increase from before the fighting began. This rise in calls may be due to the intense operational activity and the deployment of forces, particularly reservists.

Individuals like C, who served in the reserves and experienced months of fighting, have turned to Netal’s helpline for assistance with mental distress and depression after returning home. The organization provides tools and support to help individuals cope with the challenges of reintegrating back into civilian life.

The clinical unit of NTL provides individual clinical treatment to various groups in need, including survivors of attacks, bereaved families, families of abductees, and those dealing with post-traumatic stress. The unit has seen a significant increase in patients, prompting an expansion of therapists and services nationwide.

NTL has also been providing employment support to those struggling to return to work due to trauma as well as conducting workshops and training sessions to help individuals and organizations cope with the effects of war and traumatic events. The community resilience unit of the organization focuses on strengthening resilience in Israeli society, particularly with reserve servicemembers.
