In recent years, fencing has become a common issue in certain locations. To address this problem, one solution that has been proposed is to implement a one-time entrance fee that can be paid at a debit/credit kiosk. This fee would be refundable after a day or two, in the range of $3-$5 per entrance. This approach would deter individuals who do not have a credit card on hand or do not want their presence at the location to be recorded.
Another proposed solution is to install small cameras at each entrance or transaction point to take a snapshot of individuals entering the location. This additional measure would provide an extra level of security and identification. With this system in place, there would be records of names associated with each entrance, proof of presence, and a picture of each individual.
In addition to deterring theft and fraud, this system could also help in cases of credit card theft. By capturing images of individuals in action, it would be easier to identify and apprehend potential scammers. While some may see these restrictions as unnecessary for those simply enjoying time with their children, until the situation in our country improves, preventative measures like these may be crucial.
