The Niagara Falls Sports Wall of Fame is currently seeking nominations for individuals and groups who have made a significant impact on sports in the community. Nominations are ongoing, but those interested in being considered for the 2024 inductions must submit their nomination by Friday, May 3, 2024.
The purpose of the Sports Wall of Fame is to honor and recognize those who have brought recognition to Niagara Falls through their athletic achievements. This includes athletes and teams who have excelled in their sport, as well as builders who have contributed to the development and success of sports in the community. The Sponsor Award recognizes corporations and groups that have made substantial contributions to sports in Niagara Falls over a minimum of five years.
Inductees are honored with plaques displayed in the main concourse at the Gale Centre located at 5152 Thorold Stone Road. Those unable to visit in person can view information about previous inductees on the Virtual Sports Wall of Fame. To nominate someone for the Sports Wall of Fame, visit niagarafalls.ca/swof and access the online nomination form before the deadline on May 3rd, 2024.
