As part of a strategic partnership between the Ministry of Youth in Jordan and the International Labour Organization (ILO), the “Goal for Life” programme was developed. Mudarrib, a social enterprise with expertise in sports consultancy, implemented this programme.

Mudarrib, which is registered with the Jordanian Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT), collaborated with the ILO to focus on empowering women by creating decent job opportunities and reducing unemployment rates. The programme aims to equip participants with the necessary skills for employment in gyms, educational institutions, and other sports facilities. By effectively using media platforms, it aims to challenge and break misconceptions and stereotypes about women’s abilities in these traditionally male-dominated fields. Through this initiative, women are given the tools and support needed to succeed in the sports industry and contribute to their own empowerment and economic independence.

This collaboration between the Ministry of Youth, the ILO, and Mudarrib demonstrates a commitment to promoting gender equality and creating a more inclusive and diverse workforce in Jordan’s sports sector. By providing women with the opportunity to develop their skills and access job opportunities in the sports industry, the Goal for Life programme is helping to drive positive social change and empowerment for women in Jordan.
