Jessica Casano-Antonellis has resigned from her position at SiriusXM to take on the role of senior vice president of communications at a new sports joint venture established by Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery. In her new role, she will be responsible for all communications tasks and will be a part of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to CEO Pete Distad.

Prior to this new venture, Casano-Antonellis held the position of senior vice president of communications at SiriusXM. She has previous experience as vice president of communications for Disney+ and Hulu, as well as head of global communications for Vimeo, a video-sharing platform.

CEO Pete Distad expressed his confidence in Casano-Antonellis’s experience in direct-to-consumer streaming as a valuable asset. He believes her expertise in global launches and brand narratives will make her a trusted advisor as the joint venture moves forward.

Casano-Antonellis herself is excited to join the venture at this critical stage and participate in the development of something that will bring joy to sports fans.
