Arcs is a new science fiction strategy game set to be released by Leder Games. Designed by Cole Wehrle, the creator of Root and Oath, the game features art by Kyle Ferrin. Arcs is scheduled for release in October.
In this game, players find themselves on the edge of the galaxy in a dark yet whimsical universe. Each player sets their own objectives to compete for, utilizing multi-use cards to gain an advantage by either following the leader, changing tactics, or preparing for the next round. Players build up their navies, strategize using three different types of dice, and roll them simultaneously to determine the outcomes of battles.
The game box includes a variety of components such as 100 wooden ships and agents, 18 custom engraved dice, a six-panel board, and a plethora of cards featuring over 60 unique pieces of art. Arcs is designed for 2-4 players aged 14 and up, with gameplay lasting between 60-120 minutes.
