In a major development for collegiate hockey, the Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has signed a three-year media rights agreement with Midco Sports Plus. Beginning in the 2024-25 regular season, CCHA games and Mason Cup quarterfinals, semifinals, and championship will be streamed on Midco Sports Plus through a direct-to-consumer branded digital network called CCHA TV.

CCHA Commissioner Don Lucia expressed excitement about the partnership, stating that Midco Sports Plus has been a successful sports streaming service and the CCHA is looking forward to growing their brand together with Midco. With this new partnership, fans can now access all CCHA digital content through one platform – CCHA TV.

CCHA TV will serve as a one-stop shop for all CCHA digital content and will be the exclusive streaming platform for live and on-demand coverage of member schools. More than 180 live events will be streamed annually through CCHA TV on the Midco Sports Plus app. Fans can subscribe to CCHA TV starting this September and will have the option of choosing from new monthly and annual subscription plans. The upcoming season schedules for CCHA will be released on Tuesday, May 7.

Viewers can access CCHA TV powered by Midco Sports Plus through mobile/tablet apps for both iOS and Android, as well as connected TV device apps for AppleTV, FireTV, and Roku. Additionally, there is a web-based browser interface available for those who prefer to watch on their computer.
