SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital-Jefferson City has announced the appointment of Justin Morley as its new vice president of operations. He will be taking over the position following the retirement of Becky Miller last year. Morley brings with him extensive experience having served as the vice president of operations at the SSM Health System office for five years.

During his tenure, Morley played a crucial role in shaping and implementing SSM Health’s Operating Model, and also founded the concept behind the company’s Clinical Recruitment Team. According to a news release, Morley expressed his passion for hospital operations, stating that his career began in supply chain management. He emphasized on how much he loves the connection between the work carried out within hospitals and its impact on patients and communities.

Morley expressed his excitement about working alongside the dedicated caregivers at St. Mary’s Hospital, highlighting the institution’s rich history of providing care to those in need. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with exceptional individuals and teams as they continue to uphold a standard of excellence in all they do.

In his new role, Morley will oversee various departments including inpatient pharmacy, information technology, safety, and security among others. Prior to joining SSM Health, Morley held leadership positions at Intermountain Health in two different regions as well as at the system office. His diverse background and experience are expected to be valuable assets in his new position at St. Mary’s Hospital-Jefferson City
