The UT Health San Antonio Police Department is conducting law enforcement training at the Behavioral Health and Wellness Center on Saturday, June 8, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The center is located at 5788 Eckhert Road in San Antonio. Members of the community may see an increased police presence in and around the clinic, including a large number of police vehicles, uniformed police officers, and officers in tactical equipment.
The department is committed to ensuring the safety of the university community and the larger San Antonio Medical Center area. They appreciate the understanding of the community as they prepare their officers to better protect them during this training exercise.
