New Look, New Goals: Chargers Draft and Rebuild their Offense with Greg Roman

The Chargers are currently in their offseason program, focused on building their new offense under the leadership of offensive coordinator Greg Roman. Roman, known for his success with Lamar Jackson in Baltimore, will now be working with Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.

He spoke about establishing a new identity for the Chargers’ offense and focusing on the present moment rather than past successes.

Bischoff and pass game coordinator Marcus Brady also spoke about the importance of pairing Herbert with a strong rushing attack. They believe this will create a space where offensive linemen will want to play. This emphasis on the offensive line may influence the team’s decision with the fifth overall draft pick, as they consider selecting a tackle to bolster the line.
