Renzo Rosso, the Founder and President of OTB, was awarded the Special Film Impresa-Unindustria Award for creativity for the docuseries MADE – Made in Italy, Made Perfectly. The recognition was presented to him during the second edition of the Film Enterprise Award in Rome. The initiative was conceived and created by Unindustria with the support of Confindustria and aims to enhance, exalt, and communicate the values of companies and their employees through the language of cinema.

In his speech, Renzo Rosso emphasized the importance of honoring the artisans behind the scenes of Made in Italy. He highlighted that 80% of the world’s luxury goods are produced in Italy, with small artisan businesses playing a significant role in creating high-quality products. He stressed the importance of encouraging young people to pursue careers in these professions to continue making Italy a leader in the world of fashion.

Through the MADE docuseries, Renzo Rosso aims to showcase the talents of Italian artisans and inspire a new generation to join the industry. His vision for the future growth of the Italian fashion sector involves recognizing and celebrating the artisans who are truly behind every glamorous world fashion shows and boutiques worldwide.

During an ensuing discussion with Renzo Rosso, Mario Sesti, director and film critic, Giampaolo Letta President Film Impresa Giampaolo Letta discussed how OTB’s commitment supports initiatives like MADE Campaign and CASH project aimed at promoting sustainable fashion practices while preserving traditional craftsmanship techniques.
