ION is set to broadcast WNBA games for the second season with Scripps Sports. The over-the-air network will air 43 regular-season games, the highest number among all broadcast partners. This includes coverage of eight Indiana Fever games starring Caitlin Clark and Aliyah Boston.

In addition to the games, Scripps Sports will also be airing weekly studio shows centered around its Friday Night Spotlight on ION, presented by State Farm. These studio shows will feature a 30-minute pre-game show with highlights from the week’s games, previews of upcoming matchups on ION, and stories from around the league. Halftime shows, as well as wrap-up and preview shows between games, will also be part of the network’s coverage.

The WNBA on ION studio shows will be hosted by Larry Smith in Atlanta and feature analysts Autumn Johnson and Meghan McKeown. Nicole Denne, Sr Dir of Content for Scripps Sports, will serve as the executive producer for the studio shows. The regular season is set to begin on May 14, with the first studio shows and games on ION starting on Friday, May 17. Most weeks, the studio show will air at 7pm ET followed by WNBA doubleheaders.
