On March 14, San Bernardino County health inspectors ordered several restaurants and food establishments to close due to various health violations. Del Taco on 72197 Baker Blvd., Baker was shut down due to a cockroach infestation, while Jimmie’s Market on 2928 Duffy St., San Bernardino was closed because of a sewage overflow. Screaming Chicken Saloon on 18169 Cajon Blvd., San Bernardino was shut down due to an expired health permit, and Bar & Grill Co. on 34536 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa was closed because of a rodent infestation.

However, all of these establishments were able to reopen by March 21 after taking care of the issues that led to their initial closures. Del Taco resolved their cockroach infestation and reopened on March 19, while Jimmie’s Market was able to fix the sewage overflow and reopen on the same day. Screaming Chicken Saloon also resolved their health permit issue and reopened on March 19, and Bar & Grill Co. fixed their rodent infestation and reopened on the same day as well.

This list is published weekly with closures and their status updates are published the following week by the San Bernardino County Department of Public Health.
