Oranges and tangerines are also beneficial as they are rich in vitamin C and can help prevent sunstroke and heatstroke. Sucking on a bit of tangerine or lemon peel can reduce feelings of nausea. Another useful option is coconut water, which is hydrating and prevents dehydration while being low in calories and supporting digestion with its high fiber content.

Sugarcane’s cooling properties in Oriental medicine make it an excellent fruit for purifying the body while providing sugar and water for those suffering from motion sickness. Pineapple is rich in fiber that improves digestion, reduces bloating, making it an ideal fruit to have on hand when traveling. Additionally, biscuits can help reduce feelings of nausea and discomfort when consumed during travel.

To further alleviate symptoms while traveling, individuals should sit in the upper seat or near a window to look far away instead of reading books or newspapers or looking at phones or computers while in motion. By following these tips and incorporating these fruits into their diet, individuals can reduce the effects of motion sickness while enjoying a more comfortable travel experience.
