The University of Lynchburg men’s lacrosse team is hosting the second and third round games of the NCAA 2024 Division III men’s lacrosse championship on Saturday, May 11 and Sunday, May 12 at the University of Lynchburg on Shellenberger Field. This webpage will be updated throughout the weekend with streaming links, live stats links, results, and other game day content.
The teams participating in the championship are two of the top-ranked teams in the country – No. 13 Lynchburg Hornets with a record of 14-5 and No. 16 Washington and Lee Generals with a record of 13-5. The winners of the games between Pfeiffer and Centre, and Lake Forest and Transylvania will go on to play Lynchburg and Washington and Lee, respectively.
Lynchburg has dominated its opponents this season with their impressive offense, led by senior midfielder Tyler Cunningham who has scored a team-high eight goals. Washington and Lee has been just as strong defensively, allowing only four goals per game so far this season.
