On Saturday night, FC Dallas and the Houston Dynamo played to a 1-1 tie in a thrilling MLS game. Petar Musa scored the equalizing goal in the 69th minute, setting it up with a quick passing sequence that began with Jesús Ferreira and ended with Musa putting the ball in the back of the net off a pass from Bernard Kamungo.

Despite being outshot 18-7 and having only 35% possession, Maarten Paes of FC Dallas made seven saves to keep his team in the game. Amine Bassi had put Houston ahead 1-0 just before halftime with a goal off a pass from Hector Herrera.

The last time these two teams met earlier in the season, Dallas came out on top with a 2-0 win, thanks to goals from Musa and Sebastien Ibeagha. Steve Clark made two saves for Houston in this match, while Paes was solid in goal for Dallas.

Both teams had their moments throughout the game, but ultimately had to settle for a draw. The competitiveness between the two Texas teams will surely continue as the season progresses.
