Simon Element has recently launched a new business imprint, Simon Acumen, with Richard Rhorer and Stephanie Hitchcock leading the team. The imprint aims to publish 15-20 books annually, focusing on helping readers navigate the ever-changing world of work. Kimberly Meilun has also joined as an editor from Hachette Book Group’s PublicAffairs imprint.

The debut title for the imprint is Cryptomania by Andrew Chow, a tech reporter for Time, set for release on August 6. Other upcoming titles include works by authors such as Wharton professor Matthew Bidwell, Pam Manfredo Curtis, John Richardson, Attia Qureshi, Dartmouth professor Gail Ayala Taylor, and Jamie Trull. Simon & Schuster’s president and CEO, Jonathan Karp, expressed enthusiasm for the imprint and stated the company’s commitment to being a leader in the business book category.
