In honor of Women’s History Month, we are highlighting female business owners who are empowering others to pursue their entrepreneurial dreams as part of our Hometown Pride Tour. Our current stop is in Wichita Falls, Texas, where there are several women-owned businesses that have made their dreams a reality.

One such business owner is Katherine Hager, founder of Ramble & Co. Since opening her store in 2009, she has expanded to multiple locations and offers a variety of clothing and gifts. Her mission is to make women feel seen, heard, and loved through her brand. Despite the challenges she faced in learning the ropes of retail and e-commerce, as well as balancing business ownership with motherhood, Katherine remains passionate about encouraging more women to start their own businesses.

Another inspiring woman is Shauna LaRocque, founder of CrashWorks STEAM Studio & Makerspace. She opened her business five years ago to fill a niche for creative activities in the community. Like Katherine, Shauna has faced obstacles in operating her business but remains committed to inspiring others to overcome them and pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.

Their stories serve as a reminder that with determination and perseverance, anything is possible for women in the business world. As these women continue to thrive and inspire others, they hope that more women will be encouraged to start their own businesses and break down self-limiting beliefs that hold them back from achieving their full potential.
