On May 2nd, GreenSeam will be hosting a workshop at the St. James Golf Course in St. James. The goal of the workshop is to connect ag-related businesses with the resources they need to start or grow their business locally. Attendees will have the opportunity to expand their network, connect with community leaders, and gain valuable tools to take their business to the next level.

The workshop will feature a variety of speakers and presentations, including University of Minnesota Extension Educator Neil Linscheid discussing critical variables for business success in the county, and Jeff Stamp, inventor of the Lays Baked potato chip and professor of entrepreneurship at the U of M, sharing insights on the six problems all entrepreneurs must solve.

In addition to these keynote speakers, a panel of local business success stories will be presented featuring companies like Romsdahl Companies, Winegar Inc, and Berry Pallets. These companies are sure to provide attendees with valuable insights into what it takes to succeed in ag-related businesses in this area.

The workshop will conclude with a work session where attendees can ask questions, access regional resources, and connect with local Economic Development representatives. This final session is sure to provide attendees with the practical advice and support they need to turn their ideas into successful businesses.
