In the 2021 NFL draft, the Giants selected a diverse group of talented players to add depth and talent to their roster. While they didn’t pick a quarterback, their picks filled key needs and provided much-needed reinforcements in various positions.

Tyler Nubin, the Giants’ second-round pick, replaces Xavier McKinney and is expected to play an important role on defense. Nabers fills a need at receiver and provides a much-needed No. 1 target for the offense. Theo Johnson was also picked in the third round as he is a smart choice with Darren Waller’s uncertain playing future.

The Giants may not have made the splash they wanted, but they should feel good about their draft class. Andru Phillips was selected in the third round and while he may not be considered the most popular pick, he adds depth and talent to the team at various positions. Tyrone Tracy Jr. and Darius Muasau were also picked in later rounds, providing additional depth and talent to the roster for years to come. Overall, the Giants’ strategy for building a stronger roster for the future is evident through their thoughtful selection of players in this year’s draft.
