In Worcester, Mass., the Wachusett and St. Paul baseball teams met on Monday for a doubleheader at Tivnan Field. The rivalry between the two teams added another exciting chapter as they faced off in the doubleheader.

The first game of the doubleheader went nine innings and ended with a thrilling 6-5 victory for Wachusett. The early stages of the game were dominated by Wachusett, who scored single runs in the second, third, and fourth innings to lead 3-0. However, St. Paul fought back and tied the game with three runs in the bottom of the fourth.

In extra innings, Colon Kreuz had an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to take St. Paul’s lead to 4-3. But Caden Lane scored for Wachusett in the top of the ninth to win the game 6-5. Ethan DiVito hit a home run for Wachusett, while Nate Roy had a strong performance going 3-4 with three RBI. Colon Kreuz led St. Paul with a 3-3 performance at bat.

Both starting pitchers put up tough performances during the game
