The Sip N’ Science event will be held at River Bend Nature Center in Wichita Falls, Texas on Friday, April 12 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. This event commemorates the 45th anniversary of the Terrible Tuesday Tornado and is open to individuals aged 21 and older.

The evening will feature an educational experience as attendees delve into the extreme weather history of Wichita Falls, explore a timeline of the disaster, separate truths from legends surrounding the event, and engage in tornado trivia and safety discussions. The event will be led by retired News Channel 6 morning meteorologist, John Cameron, who will share insights on staying safe during extreme weather events, showcase images from Terrible Tuesday and its aftermath, and provide general tornado trivia.
